The Bridge Between India and China

China is one of the oldest continuing civilizations in the world, it has a beautiful culture and I can only imagine what this region could have been if India and China could trust each other. The history tells that India trusted China once, and it didn’t go well, the question is why can’t it happen that two of the oldest civilizationscould trust each other?

China keeps its population closed away from the world, has its internal ecosystem which should be no one’s business except for the United Nations and Human Rights organisations, but it should also not meddle with others internal affairs and territorial sovereignty, especially by violent measures.

Discipline is one thing, for which it should be commended, but being aggressive and expansionist in a connected world like today doesn’t work in favour of anyone especially when it has such a rich culture and heritage.

Trust is built by learning from past and making amends. How can India trust China given the history it has had with it?

Tibetans living in exile, long for their homeland, there could have been peace in the region if there was a mutual understanding, great cultures could mingle by mutual understanding and not by force, and Tibet could become that bridge joining these two great cultures.
