Get tired for your brain

Sometimes it happens that we come home after work and all we dream about is to lie down on the couch, order a pizza and lie like that for the rest of the day. There’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone needs a rest. It may also happen that we do it the next day and even the next. It may even happen to us to do it for a whole week. However, if after that time we do not feel better, maybe it is worth trying something else?

Nowadays a large proportion of us spend most of our time sitting down. The opportunities afforded to us by the technological advancement of our population mean that we are becoming less “mobile”. In the past, more movement was provided naturally when, for example, we had to get food. Now it is a little easier to get food, but nothing is free in nature. We have to worry about movement ourselves.

At the beginning a good solution seems to be just an ordinary walk. Even a dozen minutes can make our thoughts clearer. And if we do not like walking, there are many alternatives. For example, cycling, swimming or running. Everyone will find something for themselves. The most important thing is to use your muscles and oxygenate our brain, which will certainly thank us for it.

The next step may be to develop a routine. Let regular effort become our friend and help us to be consistent which in turn allows us to achieve the goals we set for ourselves. It’s probably a positive perspective :)

So let’s get up and tire out our body so our brain can thank us!
