A Simple Guide to Open Your Own ETH Wallet

Setting up your own cryptowallet is simple.

Make sure the address you typed in is correct!

2. Read through the pop-ups from the website. They contain very important info if you don’t want to lose your cryptocurrency!

3. Type in a strong but easy to remember password. Then write it down with pen and paper.

4. Download the keystore file and store it securely in a file location that you will remember in a few months time.

5. Click the red button below. You will be presented your Private Key. We recommend you write it down with pen and paper on a notebook and keep it securely. Alternatively, you may also print the wallet.

6. Practice accessing your wallet a few times to get used to it.

WARNING: Do not save your private key on your computer or online cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox. Traditional pen and paper is unhackable. It’s also a good idea to have multiple back-ups in case one goes missing.
