How badass is that?!

Well, what I’m about to tell you…isn’t nearly THAT cool, but will help you download knowledge to your brain faster than any method you have been using.

I will introduce 5 ways to gather knowledge efficiently, and most importantly, accurately. It can be hard fighting through all the static online to locate a clear channel with great value.

We ranked these tools from best to worst so you don’t have to dig for the meat and potatoes.

Podcasts can help educate practically any area of life. Some argue that they learned more from podcasts than they did from their college career (myself included!).

There’s no need to listen to meaningless content.You don’t have to cram a hour-long podcast into your 45-minute commute everyday. Choose the sections that will give you the most bang for the buck.

Don’t forget to set the playback speed higher to trim down the duration even more!

Every weekday morning, they will deliver the latest and greatest events to your email so you can keep up with the world, without having to dig through an entire newspaper or site.

You can also dive into their podcast/app to listen to audio, sync up with their calendar, and find much more of their content.

#3 YouTube Playback Speed Button

The only downside to YouTube is the time it takes to find the right valuable content. Even if you find the right video, it may have a 10 minute introduction before getting to the good stuff.

I recommend using the video playback speed button to skim past all the nonsense. You can cut the waiting time in half if you increase the speed to 2x! Talk about time saved for learning on the go.

Once you find what you are looking for, you can slow it back to a speed that will still let you comprehend the information.

#4 Screen Readers

Take lazy to the next level with VoiceOver (IOS) and Talkback (Android).

I was driving to work one day when my wife texted me back with nearly 7 paragraphs worth of text. I could’ve done what everyone else does and pick up my phone while driving. However, I’m not a big fan of that kind of automated multitasking.

I found out my phone had a feature for people who need assistance with reading their screen. For my apple phone, I enabled the Voiceover feature and entered a command to have Siri read the text for me.

I was blown away at how fun this was!

Now I don’t have to ask my wife to cut back on the long messages. I look forward to these now. I since have used this strategy with blog articles and long emails too. The Voiceover feature can continue to play even while the screen is off, allowing you to elevate your learning on the go!

Just grab the text and move it to the zap reader and their platform will start displaying the text flash card style (with one or a few words at a time). The words will change rapidly until the content has been fully read.

You can now read entire pieces of content without moving your eyes!

There is a setting to add the amount of words you want displayed and the speed of the reader. I turned up the speed on this and it is amazing what the brain will let you comprehend.

If you aren’t currently implementing any processes/tools to help you learn daily, these steps will help you do that within your current schedule. If you do have a method already, try one of these out to cut down on the time it takes to obtain the information you desire.
